Guys like you are not capable of comprehending the whole issue here and even if you are, you cannot articulate.
I just said i miss those good old days before coming to america was possible for masses. There is value as long as it is limited.
I did not look down up SW industry but loath these cheap desi companies who really raped this H1 visa program and the people standing on the streets of washington are the byproducts of that rape. There simply are not enough visa numbers. To increase them or not is that country's soverign right. And what rights are you talking about.A Visa is a privelege not a right.
Aunts and Uncles with Gifts is no reason for you to look down upon entire SW Industry. Remember ur handle "JISDESH......" is prospering because of this Industry. Your Uncles and Aunts didnt do anything to get "JISDESH..." to the position it is in today.
You probably dont deserve a response. I am not from SW industry and yes I have a double Masters but don't feel heart broken that these guys stood up for their rights!!!

Guys,,
This is a good chance..If we get 50 people with 100$ each...we can see where it goes....I pledge 100$ if we can get 50 people..
Probably we should aim to get 200 people to contribute $25 each....if we get 100 people in the next two weeks, we can at least get USCIS started on this. I am ready to contribute $25.
Thanks,
Prasad

Also we have seen lot of traffic coming to our site why cant we use that also as some "Contributing" scheme like allowing some commercial notes. Some ppl might laugh at me but atleast our every click might be generating 1Cent to our cause.

Commercial airlines fly between 25,000 ft and 40,000 ft. Airlines generally take risks for profits. I know it. Some airlines like United are ultra sensitive to turbulence. Some fly right through turbulence. And sometimes I feel some pilots are plain incompetent, they have no control over aircraft during the storm.
I have personally taken 500+ flights, almost 2 every week. And I can say, I get really nervous when turbulence or strong clouds are present. You are one second away from the big jolt or swing. A lot of times, it has been a roller coaster like ride. Now I would enjoy that once in a while. Sometimes I have seen big aircrafts like Boeing 757-300 series, flex, you see forward portion of aircraft going up and tail portion going down. But its required so that aircraft does not split up mid air. It can be a nasty thing for someone seated in the rear. Always always wear seat belt during turbulence, if it gets severe, you will hit the head on the ceiling. The turbulence during take off and landing is usually more risky as aircraft is closer to ground and can not afford to lose altitude. If it is at a higher altitude, aircraft can lose some altitude, due to "air pockets" and still be ok.
I was in a travel job earlier and I have faced all sorts of similar issues. There was this AA pilot onroute from ATL to ORD who once announced that thunderstorms are on the route and he took a different route claiming he had enough fuel and if not he will land in St. Louis foor refuelling, but he never had to.
I guess such decisions depend a lot on Pilots and their confidence and experience.

Skills in general are typically formed by three components:
a) 1/3 - Formal hands-on Training
b) 1/3 - On the job experience
c) 1/3 - Reading, research on your own
If you have some indirect project experience by working as a programmer for example, I don't see why not you cannot do items a) and c) above. At least the PMP (or whatever certification you intend to take) will be ready when opportunities come and the training should help you expand your horizons. Good luck.
I really don't know, As some body suggested doing PMP, for doing the PMP certification you need to have a project management experience of few years right?

Those 22,000 members, its a simple letter. Just grab a template and write it. IV has been working hard for us. A simple act of mailing that letter would help everyone here a lot.
Just do it!

I suggest, some of us send another email asking Ombudsman about this. Let us see what kind of response we get. It will be helpful to find if they got the data they requested in 2004. If they have not got it in about 4-5 years, are we also going to wait for a long time to get the data?
This case should be sent to Ombudsman, perhaps by IV, clearly stating that information is needed for decision making on PD cut off dates announced every month, which does not seemingly exist. They need it for their internal working, not for an external query by a client.
BTW, I believe they have grossly underestimated the cost. How did they estimate the cost if they don't even know what is a PD.
What is needed, is not just a computer query. Most of the information (e.g. Priority Date of an applicant) exists only in paper format, perhaps just on AOS applications we submit. For monthly bulletins they only guess based on general progress in preceding months. Isn't clear from faster cutoff date movements in later part of the year, followed by retrogression. The fact is that information sought is neither readily available, nor can it be found that easily.
Even if a lot of waiting folks collect funds as suggested in this thread and send them, how do you know what you get is accurate. Most likely it wont be, due to poor understanding of what is needed, and no way to confirm on how they extract this information.

If many EB3 people start porting to EB2 then EB2 queue will grow. But if we think how many already jumped the line using so many ways...this is not a bad option at all. As long as we qualify for EB2 and employer is ready its the best thing to do for people waiting with 2002-2004 PD.

Yabadaba,
"Moron" is an insult. I don't insult anyone. If you don't like my posts, just ignore them.
Regards,
The Ombudsman
Ombudsman is right. This is a public forum and if you dont like something ignore it. I personally find, Ombudsman's posts quiet interesting and good food for thought. They are put forward in a very professional manner unlike some people who use insults and sarcasm.
Cheers

Now I see why you got banned. What you did not realize is others were not rejoicing anything "AT YOUR EXPENSE". They were just enjoying what was available to them. You are the one who wants to make it a zero sum game i.e. gain for others is loss for you and vice versa.
While others were celebrating what was good for them, you want to rejoice others pain. That is just *sic*. I retract my earlier support for you.
Do I think that its unfair that people (I started my GC in May 04) from 06,07 will clog up queue, yes, but such is life. Can't do much about that can we? So enjoy whatever good is happening. Please remember, what goes around comes around. If you rejoice others unhappiness, you too will soon join them.
Quote from LogicLife's post
'And finally, if you do rejoice at the revisions of July bulletin because that would somehow do justice to you and your other BEC brothers, please rejoice privately, not publicly. Rejoice all you want, if that's what gives you happiness, but send PMs to your BEC friends or do it over the phone. Have a barbeque at your home. Have a conference call and celebrate. '
If all others can rejoice the open of visa filing at our expense publicly, why couldn't we rejoice something that'd bring fairness? Why don't they rejoince in private? You think they have us in mind? I call that BS.

I dont think many labors were filed between september 2001 and Dec 2002. Due to bad market and frequent layoffs during that time. My guess is EB3 will get to 2003 soon, may be before end of this year.
Would love to see that happen... waiting with PD of aug 2002 :-(

Well it seems the idea to get a Stimulus for 2008 for people having spouses with ITIN is nearing dead end (no action). Now the government is planning another stimulus. I think we should work on taking the necessary steps to prevent the same happening this year (being dropped out). I think we should raise awareness and write to all people including President Obama.

Is fragomen filing EAD & AP on time?
I have been following up with them to file my EAD renewal since 10 days and today I received a response that they are busy with audit and will do as soon as they can, I don't want my ead application to be delayed, its already more than a week I was eligible to file EAD renewal.
