Does anyone know if there are any support group/s out there to help plan moving back to india, for good?

I understand the wages lesser than specified in Labor is a real potential issue. But what about wages much higher than specified? 10-20% increase will be fine, but what about 50% or 100% jump.
Many of us live in consulting world and in a billing sharing mechanism where your annual wages fluctuates. I am talking to a potential client which can give me a significant raise (please note I am not transferring H1 or using EAD and will be staying with the same GC filing company with 140 approved and 485 pending).
Has anyone ever met a real case when high wage jump created a problem?

I have visa stamp in the name of previous employer and I 797 from current employer. I have traveled with these and had no problems at re-entry.
But previous employer has completed processing of my H1B cancellation. Can I still re-enter with visa stamp in the name of previous employer?

Hi,
I am applying for renewal of EAD .I have two question regarding that.
My husband is primary applicant.
1.Should I apply with his ID or I can create my seperate ID and apply through that.
2.For c9 Eligibility status which option should I select?.
a.family based.
b.Employment based .

Hi,
My employer filed H1B transfer in Feb 2009. however he could not receive RFE letter with in time on mail and only received after RFE submitted date was expired which is May 25th, 2009
In jun1 1st week , he filed for the RFE extension for the stated reason and also refiled H1B to make sure that I should be in valid H1B status in case of first H1B denial in mean time
Employer submitted all the documents related to RFE on June 20th and it got approved on jul 1st.
What are the best options for H1B refiling case
in case if it is denied, will it super impose the original H1B approval ?
is it good idea to cancel/revoke pending H1B refiling case ?

Hello all,
Form I-693 downloading from the following site is valid until 6/30/07.
Is it ok to use this form though we will be filing the I-485 on 07/01/07.

As long as you get your medicals done before 6/30/07 you should be fine.

Hi,
Currently I am working for employer A on H1B. I have applied for I-485 and have EAD. I have one permanent opprtunity from a consulting firms B. Compnay B is asking me to join on EAD. But threir current client is in Canada. So compnay B want me to travel to Canada, every week, retun back to US in week end. Can I do this while working on EAD. I am just worried wether it will cause any problem. They told that that is the reason they do not want to do H1B.

My wife was working in India all this time and I am in US. H1 expires end of 2010. I believe I used up my extension .
I got my EAD and AP already after I filed for my 485 under Eb2.
My Question is , how long can she go on H4 ? Only till my H1. If she comes to US on H4 can I file her EAD or do I have to wait for the category to be current to do so .
If its not possible to get her and EAD , and her H4 expires in 2010 ( assuming that her H4 is commensurate with my H1 Life span ) then what options do I have so that she is in status .
Please advise.

Hi,
I have applied for my H1B transfer from my current employer to a new company. I have not had any issues with my current employer with pay or anything like that. I have maintained my H1B status with my salary coming on time as promised and have all the paystubs and correct documents. My new employer is a big american MNC and they have hired a well known law firm for transfer process.
My only question is I have not informed my current employer yet and will inform him in a weeks time once my LCA is done and transfer is filled. He will not be very happy about this and I have initially signed an offer letter which says I will work with him for atleast a year and its only been 6 months so far. Can he create any problems in my transfer by cancelling my current H1 or any other problems with my reliving? Pls help.
